2024 Summer Food Drive

Thornton & Grooms is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of our summer food drive. Throughout June, we collected over 800 food items totaling 1120 lbs. These contributions will directly benefit CARES in Farmington Hills, providing essential support to local families in need.

This marks the second consecutive year of our June food drive, which aims to address summertime food insecurity among children. With up to 10 million children relying on free or reduced-price school breakfasts during the academic year, many face significant challenges in accessing sufficient food once school is out.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous customers and employees who made this achievement possible. Your support reflects the spirit of compassion and community throughout the cities we serve, and we are grateful for your participation.

CARES plays a vital role in supporting those facing food insecurity in our area. Through its food pantry and market, CARES feeds over 700 families a month. The donations collected during this drive will help CARES continue its mission to ensure no one goes hungry.
