Installing a new AC can be a hassle, but not when you call Thornton & Grooms. We’re a Lennox Premier Dealer, meaning you get access to some of the best, most reliable AC systems when we’re on the job. Let our honest, professional technicians help you choose the perfect AC make and model.

We start by evaluating what kind of cooling power your home needs, considering home size and layout factors. From there, we listen to your wants and needs, such as your value of energy efficiency and whether you need any unit add-ons like smart thermostats or air purifiers. We handle the entire installation process and clean up after ourselves.

Heat pumps may be known for their efficiency, but their many complex parts also leave them vulnerable to breakdowns. At Thornton & Grooms, we fix all kinds of common heat pump problems, including those you shouldn’t attempt yourself. Let us repair your refrigerant leaks, identify strange sounds, or figure out why your system isn’t running optimally.

After a quick diagnostic visit, we provide an honest, up-front quote for your options, and work doesn’t begin until you agree. We can often perform same-day repairs, but if necessary, we’ll schedule a convenient future visit.

Enjoy the ultimate convenience of having heating and cooling in one service. A heat pump provides heating and cooling, transferring heat from one area to another. Even better, these systems are highly energy efficient and environmentally friendly.

Whether you’re looking to switch to a heat pump for the first time or you need a replacement installed, we’ll make it happen. We prepare the space for the outdoor unit, install all the lines and wiring through the wall, and connect it to your HVAC. Before we leave, we test it to ensure it’s running optimally.

As your system runs, wear and tear can damage components over time. Small inefficiencies can worsen if they go uncorrected, resulting in significant failures and a loss of energy efficiency and performance. To prevent this, it is strongly recommended that you invest in an AC tune-up and maintenance at least once per year.

Think of our heat pump and AC tune-ups as if you were going into your annual physical with a doctor. We make sure everything is running efficiently and inspect all components. At this time, we can also make any adjustments or refrigerant changes to ensure your system remains in tip-top shape and lasts as long as possible.

When’s the last time you considered your indoor air quality? When the Environmental Protection Agency cautions that indoor air can be anywhere from 2 to 5 times dirtier than outdoors, it’s something you should consider.

Our services range from installing filters and purifiers to installing UV lights to cleanse your air. We can even install humidifiers and dehumidifiers to ensure your indoor air is always comfortable and healthy.
