T&G Donates 1405 Pounds of Dog Food to Local Animal Shelters
Thornton & Grooms is excited to announce the results of our second Unclog for Dogs promotion, which supports our community and the furry friends who make a house feel like a home.
For each drain we unclogged in July and August, we’re giving $5 worth of dog food to two local non-profits. Candace Hunerberg, our Director of Marketing, explained that we work with each group to get the kind and size of dog food they need most. This time, we ordered 1,405 pounds of dog food and a few extra items from the non-profit’s Amazon Wishlist.
We want to thank all our customers who called us to unclog their drains, and we appreciate the new customers who chose us for the first time.

We’ve placed the dog food order, and our team is working to deliver it to the two non-profits. We’re thankful to Almost Home Animal Rescue and Haven of Love Dog Rescue for partnering with us.
Almost Home Animal Rescue in West Bloomfield will include the donated dog food in goodie bags for its foster parent volunteers.
Haven of Love Dog Rescue in Garden City will use the donated dog food to feed the dogs they rescue.
